“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.”
Our purpose is to lift praise to our God and to lead His people in worship every time we gather in God’s house. We also stress that our worship is more than just what happens on Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. We worship the Lord through our lifestyle everyday and as we gather each week as a body of believers we experience the overflow of walking with the Lord on a daily basis. From the youngest to the oldest we teach our people involved in the music ministry that they are there to help lead our congregation into the presence of the Lord through musical worship.
The Graceway worship choir meets for practice every Sunday afternoon from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. You must be 16 years or older to join the adult choir.
If you love to sing and would like to be a part of the Graceway choir, we have a place waiting for you! Our choir is growing, so if you’re looking for a place to serve, this is it!
Our praise Band (piano, guitars, drums, brass, strings, etc.) provides exciting musical accompaniment during worship experiences in a variety of styles.
Just as with our choir, if you play an instrument and would like to be a part of the worship band, we have room for you!
The band rehearses on Sunday afternoons at starting at 4:30 p.m.in the youth multipurpose room upstairs.
Our children are the future at Graceway. We believe very strongly in allowing our kids the opportunity to worship the Lord in song. We have the following musical opportunities for children of various ages:
Kings Kids – This children’s choir for kids meets every Wednesday night at 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the Cornerstone classroom and is for children grades 2nd through 5th. This choir is lead by Mrs. Letha Clem
Important Little People II – This choir is for children grades K through1st. They also meet on Wednesday evenings upstairs in the K through 1st classroom.
Important Little People I – This choir is for children who are 4 and 5 years old. They meet upstairs in the 4 and 5 year olds classroom. Both of the above choirs are lead by Mrs. Joann Peterson.
Solos and Special Groups:
We have many people involved in singing with ensembles, duets, trios, quartets, and of course, solos.
So, as you can see, there are many, many opportunities to get involved in the music ministry at Graceway.
We would love to not only have you as a part of our church family, but also as a part of our music ministry as well.
See ya soon!
