Maybe I just haven't been paying attention. Or, maybe it's the fact that I'm a man, and the audience for Oprah's television show is decidedly female. But for whatever reason, I had no idea what the Queen of Television Talk has been up to.
For example, I didn't realize she had disavowed her Baptist upbringing and repudiated the doctrine of salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him alone. I didn't realize New Age gurus are among her most frequent television guests. And I sure didn't realize Oprah was teaching classes in spiritualism on her website.
But I realize it now!
View the video and let Oprah tell you in her own words where she's at religiously. Then heed the warning of Scripture: If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works. (2 John 10-11, ESV)
Letting her come into your home, even via television, is something every Christian should avoid.
