U-Turn Student Ministries U-Turn Student Ministries is for 6th grade through 12th grade students and is led by our youth pastor Kyle Gangel. Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere of growth and excitement in Jesus Christ. We provide many avenues to give teens the chance to worship and grow in the Lord. Our desire is to see teenagers make lasting changes in their lives.
High School Class 9th-12th Grade: Meets during the Sunday School hour. We offer a Bible study led by our Youth Pastor, Kyle Gangel.
Middle School Class 6th-8th Grade: Meets during the Sunday School hour and the Bible study is led by our Middle School leaders, Adam & Alicia Glombowski.
Monthly Activities Each month, the High School and Middle School classes have a fun, low cost activity such as bowling, laser tag, putt-putt, etc. These activities are in place to give teens a fun, safe night out away from the temptations they might face otherwise.
Wed. Night FUEL Every Wednesday Night we have our exciting FUEL service. FUEL is a time to take a break and get a refuel from God. We have a great service full of games, worship, activities, and time in God's Word. Come out and join us @ 7pm up in the "U."
Student Drama Ministries Our students love dramas and love participating in them. "Break of Day" ministries uses our students in many skits, dramas, and theaters throughout the year. This is a great way to get to know the other teens and have an active part in the Student Ministries.
L.I.F.E. Outreach
Our LIFE program is designed to refocus teenagers on outreach and rewards them for inviting friends to church. Each week is a theme and points are given out for spirit, dressing up, inviting friends etc...Our LIFE program goes for 2 months in the fall after school starts.
Camps
Every summer U-Turn Student Ministries sets aside 2 full weeks of Camp for our Middle School and High School. In 2007 several youth pastors from the area decided to join forces and create a camp ministry that would join our churches together. "The Link" was formed and has been a huge success. Each year a different theme is used such as "Soundtrack," "Vintage," and more. We ask all students to evaluate their lives, and decide if God is their top priority.
