Monday fell in the middle of a heatwave.  I was looking around for Martha and the Vandellas expecting them to break into song...

Whenever I'm with you
Something inside starts burning
and my heart's filled with fire

Stop this - it's got a hold on me

It's like a heatwave burning in my heart
I can't keep from crying
Tearing me apart...

But I digress...Seven golfers and one chauffeur were in attendance.  Team 1 was Randy Fry, Paul Miller & Greg Spilman.  Team 2 was Tassi Fry, Morris Johnson, Jim (and Renee the chauffeur) Ledbetter & Bob Pope.

The back nine was our challenge...

We were somewhat comforted by the fairly steady breeze.  The course didn't give up any eagles but there were seven birdies.  Team 1 won the evening at 5 under and Team 2 took second at 2 under!

I have decided to level out the points by giving those who don't show up "last place points" for the night they missed.  Here are the new standings:
