The Tee Commandments 2010
The Tee Commandments at Horton Smith Golf Course every Monday, April through October, team pairings at 5:15pm, play begins at 5:30pm
I.
Thou shalt have fun and exhibit a good testimony.
II.
Thou shalt enjoy the fellowship within your group and the league.
III.
Teams shalt be two to three golfers, determined by drawing lots each week. Those choosing to not play, just walk or rent a cart and drive and fellowship, can tag along with anyone they want.
IV.
League format will be a scramble. Each player tees off, then the team selects which ball to play and each player hits from there, repeating until the ball is holed out.
V.
In a twosome each player shall be allowed one re-do, “mulligan” per nine hole round. No mulligans in a threesome.
VI.
Men play from the white tees and women from the red tees.
VII.
Ball is to be played up, same cut of grass, within a club length of original spot, but on the same spot if on the green.
VIII.
Once your ball is within a standard putter length from the hole you may pick it up and add one stroke, a “gimme”.
IX.
Points will be awarded based on where you place that night and for participating.
X.
Points will be accumulated through the session.
XI.
Session point winner gets 100% of the prize money…usually nothing!
