A ministry of Graceway Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri. We are a group of Christians who enjoy the game of golf. Everyone 13 and older is welcome regardless of church membership, background, religious beliefs, dress (golf course appropriate), or skill level. The 2009 Tee Commandments season is behind us and what a season it was! We had thirty different golfers join us for at least one week or more. We had several friends join us to walk or ride along. We braved the elements and darkness from April through October. We got to know old friends better and new ones too. Scoring dipped low and soared high but all in all a lot of memories were made! |

October 19, 2009 - Session 3, Week 7 |
|
God invited us out to golf with a temperature of 70 degrees for our last night of the 2009 edition of the Tee Commandments! Thirteen golfers, one chauffeur, and one hitchhiker took Him up on it... Pairings were made and re-made and when it was all said and done Pat Looney & Greg Spilman and Jim Ledbetter & Leroy Looney made up the first foursome. They were followed by Morris Johnson & Paul Miller and Ken Hebden & Josh Neufeld. The final group was Rob Neufeld & Bob Pope and Randy Fry & Tassi Fry & Cindy Neufeld. |

October 12, 2009 - Session 3, Week 6 |
|
A cool, overcast October evening greeted fourteen golfers and one chauffeur tonight. This was the biggest turnout since June 15th which was also fourteen. Only one week had more golfers this year and that was April 20th when we had eighteen! October 26th is the cook-out potluck at Bob Pope's house. Remember to bring your golf clubs. Rain date for the cook-out is November 2nd. The grand finale golf league session is next week. Thanks to everyone for a great year! Pairings were made with Jim Ledbetter & Pat Looney as team 1, Leroy Looney & Paul Miller as team 2, Randy Fry & Greg Spilman as team 3, Ken Hebden & Morris Johnson as team 4, Josh Neufeld & Don Simpson as team 5, Tassi Fry & Bob Pope as team 6, and Cindy & Rob Neufeld as team 7. |

The thermometer said 68 degrees but none of us believed it as we headed into the chill on tee box #10... Pairings were made and the first foursome was made up of team 1 Rob Neufeld & Bob Pope and team 2 Jim Ledbetter & Josh Neufeld. Next on the tee were team 3 Randy & Tassi Fry and team 4 Jim Davis & Ken Hebden. The final foursome was team 5 Pat Looney & Paul Miller and team 6 Leroy Looney & Greg Spilman. |
